Weddings:
Waters Mill was designed with weddings in mind. No detail of the house has been left to chance. The beautifully decorated bridal suite is available exclusively for the bride and her attendants on her wedding day. Please inquire about overnight accommodations for the newlywed couple or parents of the bride.
Waters Mill offers four ceremony sites from which to choose. The first site is an estate style garden designed so that wedding guests can see the bride as she makes her way down the aisle. The second site is an English style garden. Beyond the gazebo you may catch a glimpse of the Appalachian Mountains or horses grazing in the pasture. We anticipate the estate garden and the English garden to be completed in the spring of 2007.
The third garden boasts an immaculate lawn that can be tented for up to 600 guests. This is the perfect location for the bride who has always dreamed of getting married in her backyard. The fourth ceremony site is surrounded by century old oak trees that create a natural shade canopy for wedding guests. The bride can watch her guests arrive from the private bridal suite before making a grand entrance onto the expansive rocking chair front porch. This ceremony site overlooks the creek and quiet pasture. In case of inclement weather, a covered walkway can be attached to a tented ceremony site. Rain or shine you will have a beautiful wedding at Waters Mill.
Our in-house Event Manager will work with you on your overall reception planning three months before your event. You will then work with our Wedding Director to plan important details of your ceremony, and establish the flow of your ceremony and reception, three weeks before your wedding.
Basic wedding direction includes approximately 10 hours of work with your Wedding Director. This time includes your one hour rehearsal and guidance during the day of your event. Please call our office to get a handout of the specific details of our wedding direction services and any additional services that you may be interested in.
Each bride and groom is given one hour of rehearsal time which is typically scheduled the day before the wedding. If for some reason the rehearsal cannot be held the day before the wedding, it may be scheduled for another time that is convenient for the bride and groom as well as Waters Mill. Waters Mill would love to host your rehearsal dinner, please call us for details.
Waters Mill provides tables and white floor length linens for your wedding reception. Alternate and additional linens and/or chair covers are available upon request.

REHEARSAL & CEREMONY DIRECTION:
You will work with our Wedding Director to plan important details of your rehearsal and ceremony three weeks before your wedding. She will personally direct your wedding rehearsal and ceremony.

CATERING:
Food is prepared fresh in our pristine kitchens to ensure the highest quality. We will work with you to customize a menu for your event.
FLORAL DESIGN:
Unlike any other event facility, Waters Mill is the home to Creations of Waters Mill floral design. All floral design for events held at Waters Mill is done on site, eliminating the risk of damage during transportation. Of course, you do not have to get married at Waters Mill to have our designers create your stunning floral designs. Call today for a complimentary consultation.
