 Waters Mill is a full service event facility nestled deep in the North Georgia Mountains. The house is part of the Waters Estate and has remained in the family since the 1700’s. The Waters brothers traveled from Virginia, settling in the North Georgia Mountains where they began their lives as farmers. The Waters family farmed the land and built the existing farmhouse. The original pine floors throughout the house were hand hewn and laid by the brothers from a mill located on the property, thus the name Waters Mill.

 I have been told that as a young child I would cry every time I passed a white house. I was sure it was my Daddy Guy and Mama Waters’ house, and I wanted to go inside. This house, now Waters Mill, was the most beautiful house I had ever seen, and it meant the world to me.
I would like to share with you the serenity and beauty this house offered me as a little girl. We invite you to swing on the porch, look out over the pasture, and enjoy the quiet serenity of the north georgia mountains. We can’t imagine a more perfect place for you to experience simple elegance while celebrating life’s journeys. After planning my wedding in 2003, I began a wedding planning business and then began Waters Mill. We have planned hundreds of weddings and love every minute of it.
